What power supply/ transmitter for a Futaba FP-RDF receiver? – RC Groups
Hobbyking has a few on their site to check out is one source. Two lipo cells in series easily exceed the required safe voltage for what you want. Generally your weight even with the voltage regulator will be less than a ni cad type pack.
Remeber also if you are not aware there is a high and low band version of the reciever you mention. Neither will operate on all 72 megacycle frequencies. It is an older but good very heavy reciever in comparison to what you could use today.
Very reliable though in general. Return to Batteries and Chargers.
