The Bachelor of Arts programs are offered in the liberal arts tradition. They permit greater certificaation breadth with less specialization than the Bachelor of Science programs.
The Bachelor of Science programs meet the requirements of professional associations and provide the more intensive training required for admission to graduate work. They are normally elected by students intending to pursue careers in these fields. Honors programs for undergraduates currently exist for all departments of the College of Science.
