Associations, and individuals* with great ideas have a variety of funding opportunities via the Peace Portal cooperative of corporate, charity, and non-governmental partners.

Associations of people that serve the community, such as faith organizations, non-profit foundations, charities, school community organizations, and the like may qualify on Peace Portal to become funded as a “Soule Family” in the FDU online charity fund raiser.

To qualify as a Soule Family, an organization should:

1)       Create a “group” on Peace Portal,

2)       Have your constituents join the group.

3)       Share your purpose and plan or projects (with working budget requirements) in the group, if appropriate cross-posting it as an OSSI (Open Source Solution Initiative) entry.

4)       Identify individuals or associations in your group responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining your plan.

5)       Find partner groups to ally with for meeting mutual goals

6)       Have group members “pledge” to choose your group as their Avatars Soule Family when phase 2 of the Peace portal launches with FDU in 2009.  When a sufficient number of supporters to make your specific plan viable is reached, it can officially become a Soule Family. 

Soule Families will be matched with larger humanitarian and charitable organizations appropriate to their missions in 2010 when phase 3 (Funding) of Peace Portals plan begins with the first endowments being released from the Peace Portal Humanitarian Trust to beneficiaries such as Feed the Children, Doctors Without Borders Room To Read, Inveneo, and the like.  By complimenting their pre-existing infra-structure with Soule Families, established organizations receiving endowments will be much more successful in achieving goals otherwise impossible due to deficiencies in local sustainable development the organization does not address; water, expanded education, food, energy, forests, economics, and all aspects of our now globally interdependent life.

*Individuals with ideas to be capitalized may find a job, partnering opportunity, strategic alliance, or direct funding as investment from our corporate partners and Trusts.  Individuals in the 3^rd world will become eligible for micro-loans to start businesses attached to Access Points in phase 3 of the Peace Portal plan.
