Phase Two: Integration
Phase Two begins in 2009 with the launch of the Free Digital Universe (FDU) charitable fund raiser. In Phase Two we will:
Begin integrating project participants identified in phase 1 into a comprehensive global plan from implementation.
- Expand network capacity of our projects based on the realistic needs of our participants. This is done mainly by leveraging Information Age technologies.
- Deploy project elements, organs, and auxiliaries required to implement the plans chosen in phase one. This includes charity fund raising for small groups identified in Phase One as FDU "Soule Families."
- Assess effectiveness, best practices, and make revisions to plans. Allow Peace Portal visitors and projects to participate in this process.

To meet our goals, Peace Portal in conjunction with our partners fund charities, churches, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in two ways:
| Small Groups: 1) The Soule Family Option: Smaller groups and associations may apply for funding as a Free Digital Universe (FDU), "Soule Family." Churches, Access Points, Schools, charities, and even private Associations are eligible to find funding as a Soule Family. The funding comes from FDU corporate partners who make a charitable over-ride donation each time a FDU user (called a Avatar or Digital Soule) makes a digital sale or purchase. Every FDU user must choose a Charitable "Soule Family" from which their unique Avatar Soule derives. Soule Family funding begins in phase 2 with the launch of FDU. Between phase 2 and phase 3, Soule Families are to build up capacity and coordinate with the larger charities chosen as beneficiaries of the Peace Portal Humanitarian Trust. By coordinating the activities of small (Soule Families) and large organizations (trust beneficiaries) during phase 2, the enterprise will become ready for phase 3 launch in 2010. When phase 3 launches and begins funding the trust beneficiaries, Soule Families will be partnered with those groups in order to expand outreach capacity, infrastructure, and opportunities to those in need. |
Established Organizations 2) The Peace Portal Humanitarian Trust: Organizations with established infrastructure are supported through the Peace Portal Humanitarian Trust; sample organizations include INVENEO, OLPC, EFF, Doctors Without Borders, Feed The children, SEEN, SEVA, and the like. The Trust was vested by donations of shares from the two main corporate components of Project Peace Portal; ShareMyBiz, and Global Digital Publishing. These companies were designed and created specifically to provide the economic engine for the Peace Portal enterprise plan. |
