Internet Solutions for Kids is a non-profit research organization in the US centered on understanding the impact on and opportunities for adolescent health represented by new technologies. Their mission is to promote new and innovative methods that improve the health and safety of young people, particularly as regards the dangers associated with child use of the Internet.

They are working on a variety of projects with a wide spectrum of partners, including the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Harvard University, the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center, and Harris Interactive.The project Peace Portal Humanitarian Trust has chosen to support is called Cyber Senga.

The CyberSenga project in Mbarara, Uganda is examining the applicability of the Information “Motivation“ Behavioral skills model for adolescent HIV risk behavior. Findings will be integrated into the design of a novel, Internet-based HIV prevention program for youths funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (R01MH80662).
