hello all -
here is a link to a gifted film-maker's site: http://www.soulbiographies.com/category/behind-the-film-blog/main-feature/ - i have invited him here (Nic Askew), and to SAINT as well, and he seems to have a full plate at this time.
But, there is something about his short films, and the intimate depth he shares with us in so little time that seems very special to me, and appropriate for us here at PP to connect with somehow.
there is one film in particular that is an amazing view of someone who has dedicated her life to transforming poverty. "how to give a fishing lesson" w/Maria Pacheco - see if the link above works: (he rotates the films each month, and this one is protected, so not sure if it will work)

Hello - I am new to Peace Portal, and am glad to see this group here! I have not put my creativity out in the world for a while, but the time is Now - and so, I would like to offer my keyboard/piano and voice to help with any projects that may need vocals, voice-over, music or sound bed for media/video, etc. I have been a performer, and have some experience w/tech aspects of studio and recording process, and have done some voice-over work. I sing in a soulful ballad style, tenor range, comfortable finding harmonies. Piano/keyboard is usually a ballad/melodic style.
Let me know if I can be of help - exchange could be simple joy of working together, or anything that feels appropriate for all involved.

I am a visual artist who aspires to inspire others to grow emotionally and spiritually through artistic expression... I am pulling together website concepts... just wanted to chime in... I am a kid at heart have lots of stories to tell, dreams to share and would like to show kids and the child within all 'adults" the love of making art! Eye could go on but It would be best if I drew a picture or made a video about it instead of this typing thing...lol!
