Kyndred Novel Series

Finally the Darkyn and the Kyndred series seem to have merged. But I did have a hard time grasping the plot of this story, it always seemed like I was missing something important or it was a little rushed. Honestly, this felt like a growth book, which is amazing when you consider how many books Lynn Viehl has written. First, no matter how much money you have and where you live, you can still be kidnapped, imprisoned, and all your rights taken away at the drop of a hat!

And probably not a case of genetic experimenting. I I am a Viehl fan and that is why I gave this book 3 stars. Samuels’ story he is always in the shadows a gentle giant of a man with only a year left to live. I think I would have enjoyed it so much more had I read other books in this world, because there were a few times I felt a little behind and left out. Why I liked the book I liked the book because I thought the storyline was very interesting. I thought at the beginning that the plot was a little strange about the procreating thing mainly but we get into it little by little.

I love each of these series and she still writes for both series and then one or the other new one will relate back. Not that all sci fi or fantasy has to be believable, but it should at least follow it’s own rules.

Though I can’t help but want more, ya know? It is a connecting piece and as such should be read by those who have read her other books.

I really enjoyed the nature of this young woman because we can relate to her easily, more than to the others.
