Alcuin Anskov rated it really liked it Oct 04, Paperbackpages.
Steve Wilson rated it really liked it Dec 08, I have to agree with pretty much every review both here and on Amazon that mentions her; Rikali is an obnoxious, screeching headache that adds nothing to the book.
Apr 04, Isaac Clarke rated it liked it Shelves: Annie Erbacher rated it liked it Jun 17, However, Weiss got better, and she and Hickman took back over the Dragonlance main series. Dhamon Grimwulf, once a Hero of the Heart, has sunk into a bitter life of crime and squalor. Ilbreth saha comes off as more sympathetic just from the way he’s treated and what happens to him at the end of the novel.
While hating all the other leads, I found myself eagerly awaiting any time Ilbreth got a speaking role.
Sep 30, Fco. I find it odd that, out of all the possible ideas for a book cover, they went with “Dhamon awkwardly grabbing his leg in agony while holding a necklace near a river”. What a weird, and laa ride it has been. I only mention the above because it does come into play when reading the Dhamon Saga. Jan 28, Starsreader rated it it was ok.
Redemption (Dragonlance: Dhamon Saga, #3) by Jean Rabe
Rabe needed more editing to weed out scenes that are completely unnecessary, which would lw the action and make it more gripping. HypnoPony rated it it was amazing Jan 07, Want to Read saving…. A bit predictable, perhaps, but still a wonderful way to end the trilogy. Jun 21, J.
There isn’t so much of a climax so much as the book bumbles into some situations DnD style and then abruptly stops when it could’ve gone on for another pages. In terms of plot, the book kind of meanders a bit because everyone has their own agenda and they all tug the story along.
Sep 27, Mariana rated it it was ok Shelves: The author knows how to write good fight scenes and action-filled set pieces, even if every character seemed to make a big deal about how they fought better than ten men.
Dhamon Saga 3 books. It was the fantasy novel equivalent of one of those two dollar sandwiches you find in the back of a fridge that is just past its expiration date; it got the job done but it wasn’t very tasty in the end and you’ve probably eaten thousands of meals just like it. This title ties up the story of a character first introduced in popular Dragonlance saga author Jean Rabe’s Dragons of a New Age trilogy.
Rabe is a master at writing action sequences, particularly fight scenes. So, I think what happened is that Rabe had the chance to do her own thing with Krynn, which she did in the Dragons of a New Age trilogy, a series that had a broad scope as well as focusing on specific characters, saha the original Saga.
Chris rated it did not like it Aug 14, Joe Moley rated it liked it Jun 20, Dhamon Saga 3 books. Zach Adams rated it liked it Mar 22, I’m looking forward to the next book now that I have the last few pages stuck in my mind, and I’m curious about the way Rabe’s characters will continue to develop but also about the bigger picture with the dragon overlords since this book has a much narrower focus than the books in Rabe’s other trilogy.
A group of unlikely heroes get together to strive safa a common goal – nothing extraordinary about that, in fact, unlikely heroes seem to be more the rule than the exception these days.
Cody Morgan rated it it was amazing Jul 22, Vaarna rated it it was dhamno May 30, And her fight scenes! Want to Read Currently Reading Read. If you want to read a book with protagonists that you actually want to make it to the end of the novel and succeed Thomas rated it really liked it Sep 10, Dhamon, on the other hand, seemed less of a douche compared to her, Just finished this, and I have to say I’m disappointed that this book never picked up like the others did.
Of course not, because she’s comic relief.
Il riscatto di Dhamon. La saga di Dhamon. DragonLance: 3: Jean Rabe, R. Sorgo: : Books
And Dhamon is an interesting character – once dark knight, then hero and the chosen one of Goldmoon and Palin Majere – and now, well, scum. It gave me my daily dose of word-intake, but I could have spent my afternoon reading something better. At this point, she could only focus on her characters and not make any broader changes because Thanks for telling us about the problem.
