A Guide to Reading and Writing the Japanese Syllabaries in 3 hours each Combined edition is a book by James Heisig for remembering hiragana and katakana. RTK just tells you that you need to build up a system for remembering Kanji and that it is done by following the book and that the reason ueisig because he says it works. I did volume 3, and went up to kanji, those kanji you won’t see much.
