Excellent introductory book to the Runes. Peschel admits that if the reader wishes for a better understanding of the ruins and their history then another material may be better suited for that purposes, whereas this text is more of a practical guide Great for novices in the field of runes. It’s inexpensive in price but priceless in content! What I liked best about guid was that she doesn’t “Preach” anything, and she doesn’t sound pompus when relating stories of her own or others’s experiences. The idea of the way of writing them an all the meanings behind it for magick purposes is on the other side interesting.

This is my favorite rune book from when a newbie. The tables in the back are open to interpretation, and I rarely use them. Otherwise very good resource book. I have a lot of dog ears on this one. To see what your friends thought of this book, please lisq up.
